Created web-page on Apr. 05, 2002, to store unchanging miscellaneous data regarding LORD IGMs testing. The primary purpose of this page will be to store the tables/sections listing UNUSABLE LORD IGMs. If at some future date, some author shows up and fixes a program, it will be re-listed on my LORD IGMs Page. 06/03/07: Removed pre-2007 news notations. All IGMs listed on this web-page have varying kinds of usability problems including RTE200. All were fully tested in 2002-2003. Some do not work in LORD's Local Mode. Some only work on a BBS system.
January-April 2007 News: 01/26: Replaced URLs for Magic Kiss,
Aladdin's Bar IGMs. RTE200 patch versions of Chapel of St. George,
and Weapons of War are now available. RTE200 Patches of Haunted House
and Larissa's Lair have been tested, and they work properly.
04/23/97: Checked page links. Replaced 5 bad links.
DISCLAIMER NOTICE: 12/16/09: It is POSSIBLE that some
IGMs listed on this page can be worked on so that their RTE200
problems are fixed. I can ONLY say that *NONE* of the igms
listed on this page could be reliably rte200-patched on my
933 Mhz system back in 2003-2004. Remember also that patches
that work at 933 Mhz sometimes become unusable when used on
systems that run at much higher speeds such as 2.4 Ghz.
Summary of problems: Configuration failures: Dragon's Bone Shipyards - can't get configuration to work. Kanen's Lotto Hut gives a "String space corruption in Igmsetup.exe file" message. 3rdparty.dat corruption: Lord Trivia v1.00 also gives RTE 002 message. Player's Guild - Crippled; refers to info.1 file. Ignores valid LORD directory paths: Willy Tart's Carnival, and Magic Kiss. They also refuse to exit to DOS. Possibly dangerous: HateMail drops user to DOS upon exit, where the user can do damage to a BBS's hard drive. Miscellaneous problems: Dragon's Breath Square illegally tries to access LPT1. If it is attached to a scanner, you end up with an unstable system until you reboot. Red Dragon Flea Market, once RTE200 patched, generates an RTE 104 error message. Retried it with only 6 IGMs installed, result was "Invalid Parameter" error message. Sandtiger's Bar 2.00 gives an RTE 104 message. Cathedral of Nalishar is unusable both in Local Mode and in BBS games. Its author left out the required install.exe file, and its manual install instructions are worthless. When re-evaluated, Spellbinder would not work, and did not give understandable error message. Note: In each table, the (*) indicates program has been re-verified as being unusable.

These Pascal-based IGMs failed because of RunTime Error 200, and do not respond to patching. Note: (*) beside an entry indicates the program has been double-checked for usability. 2002 RTE200 notes: Red Dragon Pet Shop, L.O.R.D. Huts - After patching, both IGMs give "Invalid Parameter" error message. Fairy Peddler 3.00 - after patching, gives "Bad command or filename" error message. Rodger's World: Won't accept valid LORD directory path info. Shutdown of DOS session required to leave program. Psyc0's Inn - Causes Win-ME to shut down DOS session. 01/26/07: Mysterious Hut is said to work if it is used in main LORD directory. It can be manually installed into an igm directory by editing its entry in 3rdparty.dat file.
